Interest: I am interested in HSTEM because I am interested in making STEM a more welcoming set of subjects. I am also interested in the negative perception of non-western medicines compared to how they are actually exploited through biopiracy. I would like to work in the research field, most likely working on medicines that come from bioprospecting, and I would like to make sure that it is done in a way that is ethical.
