I am drawn to Being Human in STEM because it explores the human aspect of STEM fields—an element I find both empowering and challenging in my own academic journey. I believe this course will support my goal of promoting inclusivity and equity in learning environments. 21st-century science is highly collaborative, and understanding human experiences and interactions is essential for fostering successful scientific partnerships. Additionally, I want to explore how we can balance innovation with humanity and accountability especially when scientific advancements pose critical ethical dilemmas. This course will help me develop the tools to navigate these challenges and contribute to a more equitable scientific community.

Here’s a photo of me with my favorite human (my sister)!
