Projects: I decided to take HSTEM to understand Amherst’s diverse community through a humanistic approach, which would be impossible in a lab or lecture setting. Through HSTEM, I hope to learn skills to recognize and dismantle discrimination in the science community and apply them to my future career as a physician-scientist.
